I finally kicked my art block's butt and was able to finish this! *A*
Yes. An Amnesia/Umineko crossover. On the right are Beatrice and Battler, a pair I've wanted to draw since forever but never got started. I've had this picture in my head for months now and finally the urge to draw grew too big to resist. I had lots of trouble getting Alexander and Daniel's hands the way I wanted them, but in the end if was worth the scuffle.
The way I picture the background story for this, Alexander is a witch with near infinite powers, just like Beatrice, the Golden Witch, and Daniel has become his apprentice. In case you are confused, witch is not exactly a gender-specific word in Umineko-verse. Beato is being her typical taunting self and has probably managed to irritate Daniel by saying something rude.
I think Daniel would make a witch far more ruthless and cruel than Alexander. His temper alone makes him prone to fits of misdirected anger, and with his less than stable mental health, I imagine he would be something akin to Eva-Beatrice, torturing and killing on a whim. He... he'd be quite terrifying, wouldn't he? Daniel is not someone I'd grant with enormous magical powers, at least not when Alexander is his superior.
On an entirely different note, I had fun playing around with Daniel's outfit. Since the other three are wealthy and powerful, not to mention well-dressed, individuals, I thought it would be mean to make Daniel look like an abandoned ragdoll. (the choker I added for fun. His neck looked naked without it since everyone else has an accessory of some sort around theirs)
Media: watercolours, colour inks, pastel pencils, masking fluid, butterfly-shaped outline stickers (for masking, they were peeled of once the paint was dry), gold and silver calligraphy pens + white paint. Size: 21x30 cm / A4.
Two favourite characters. Beloved game and amazing (to me) anime. This fusion will be hard to rate objectively, but I will try.
Vision:
The simple - the better. Crossover-like arts should be simple enough to understant the concept. Here it is simple as possible, making it easy to recognise all characters and bounds between them. Interesting is the way how *Aurasama drew Beatrice; the style has been changed, but the character is still easy to recognise. But...I do not like Bettler's nose...
Vision - 4 stars.
Originality
Even though Alexander and Beatrice has a lot of in common, I have never seen any art with them toghether.
Originality - 5 stars, of course.
Technique
Watercoulours, colour inks, pastel pencils...and more. Without any doubt I would give 5 stars, beacouse traditional way deserves it. Skin looks realistic, colours are alive, intensive and kept in harmony. However - I do not like shading. It is not...visible much (at least on my screen) and makes the art a bit too bright for me and flat. Adding a bit more shading power would make it better in my opinion. Please note that I do not use watercolours often and I am not sure if it is possible to shade it more.
Technique - 4 stars
Impact
It made my day better...no...my life. It is fantastic that someone noticed that Beatrice and Alexander are evil, paranormal entities, manipulating the world and the people around them.
I like this...it's..beautiful......FAVE!!!But no,seriously,I like their expressions in this drawing. It suits them all perfectly and it gave me a clue about what's going on before I read your description. That's what i like about certain drawings, because their expressions and poses paint an idea of what's going on in my head.Your's,however, always do this to me.They NEVER cease to amaze me.I hope I can draw as good as you when I grow up.
Thank you, it's very encouraging and heart-warming to receive this kind of feedback.
I'm sure you can and will, just keep practising diligently and results will follow in time. Drawing is something where you can always improve further, which makes it very addictive.
God I love umineko! Love this crossover! Its just to bad that none of my freinds are into it Beatrice: "How about you force the women to eat her daughter? Thats a great way to torture people." Alexander:"Yes but you don't get as much blood out of them now do you?" This has made my day
Oh god, marry me /shot. I didn't realized how much both characters fit each other *-*.
The way you did Daniel's outfit is wonderful, I love all the details <3. Beato and Battler look really interesting in your style, it's always amazing to see a manga character done like this^^. I freaking love the idea, it's so cool :3.

Impact - it deserves 5 stars with no doubt.
